A 2-year-old girl has tragically died after getting her head trapped in car window.
According to WXYZ, the young girl named as Kierre Allen died after she accidentally closed the the electric window on her head.
It is understood that the Kierre’s lifeless body was found by her father who had fallen asleep in front of the Mazda 3 car which was parked outside their Detroit home.
Although police have are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination, it is reported that Kierre’s father has been taken into custody on unrelated warrants.
The incident has also prompted to police to warn parents of the dangers of not watching their children whilst they are alone on the back seat.
