The Government has confirmed that up to 500 modular homes will be made available to Ukrainian refugees by early 2023.
At the same time, it is understood that no such courtesy will be extended to Ireland’s own homeless, some 11,000 people and counting. Many of these might have been in the housing list for many years.
Around 56,000 Ukrainian refugees have been allowed into the country, while the homeless list here just kept growing and growing.
