The Government’s latest ideation to cram even more refugees into Ireland is to use barracks, even those that are actively being used by the Irish armed forces.
Having run out of hotels, parish halls, tent cities, disused warehouses, holiday homes, student accommodation, and just about every other piece of real estate, the next tranche of refugees will be shipped to stay with the army for a while. Once those barracks fill up, the Government will be forced to start rotating bands of refugees around all the aforementioned temporary abodes.
Under the current Government, Ireland will resemble that old skit where dozens of clowns rush out of a tiny car, only in this case it will be refugees, instead of clowns, and the actual clowns own the car.
Meanwhile, the list of Irish-own homeless continues to grow.
