Government scrambles to find and build accommodation for refugees while countless Irish families face imminent homelessness as eviction ban is lifted

As countless Irish families face imminent homelessness, with the lifting of the eviction ban, the government has managed to find alternative accommodation for 1,400 refugees in just a matter of days after they were informed that roughly 800 hotel rooms currently being rented with Irish taxpayer money would become unavailable.

While Irish men, women and children will face being put onto the streets or at best the spare bedrooms of sympathetic friends and relatives, the government in conjunction with local authorities across the country are scrambling and marshalling a Herculean effort to ensure no refugees or asylum seekers go without safe accommodation and meals, all the Irish taxpayers expense of course.

Minister for Integration Roderic O’Gorman confirmed last week that alternative accommodation had been secured for the 1,400 people impacted by the loss of 800 hotel rooms for refugees.

Meanwhile, the building of modular housing projects across Ireland has ramped up, which while they will be build in Ireland with Irish taxpayer money by the Irish government will be strictly “No Irish Need Apply” as these new, permanent and purpose built plantations will be only for refugees, free of charge, naturally.
