Guinness pledges a whopping $1 million to Black Lives Matter

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is set to donate $1 million to the Black Lives Matter organisation as a part of a $20 million community fund set up by parent company Diageo.

The money from Guinness will go to companies and organisations based in Baltimore where the brewery is situated and the wider state of Maryland.

$250,000 of the donation will go to the Baltimore Action Legal Team, which provides legal support to those arrested during the protests, riots, looting and violence that has plagued American cities since convicted home invader and degenerate drug addict George Floyd died in Minneapolis police custody.

BLM has been flooded in recent months with donations from major companies, tech giants, multi-national corporations and banking institutions.

Questions over where these millions of dollars are actually going has led to speculation from some that these donations are being funnelled to the Democratic Party to support their war chest against President Donald Trump ahead of the US general election this November.
