Graham Dwyer, a convicted killer, is suing the State and the Irish Prison Service for damages, reports RTE.
He filed a lawsuit yesterday against the Attorney General, Ireland’s Minister of Justice, and the Prison Service.
There is no scheduled time for it to appear in court.
In 2015, Dwyer was found guilty nine years before of Elaine O’Hara’s murder, reports RTE.
The Supreme Court heard his final appeal against his conviction last month, following a protracted legal battle over the retention and access to his mobile phone data, which was used as evidence against him during his trial.
The court’s decision is not expected to be made anytime soon.
Dwyer disputes the murder, reports RTE.
