Police in the North have sadly confirmed that a 12 year old girl has passed away following a house fire in Co Antrim.
According to BBC News, the young girl sadly passed away following a fire at a house in Staffa Drive in Ballykeel.
It is understood that one other person has been hospitalised following the fire which occurred at approximately 6pm on Wednesday evening.
Police say an investigation into the cause of the fire is currently ongoing.
