Met Eireann is predicting temperatures of up to 27C by the end of this week and into the weekend.
In the meantime, Tuesday and Wednesday will be warm days with spells of light rain, mostly across western and northern areas.
The weather will start improving significantly from Thursday onwards, with long sunny spells and temperatures of 24-25C.
Friday is forecast to be a very sunny and warm day, with temperatures reaching 25C.
And the good news is that the weekend is expected to see very warm and sunny weather as the thermometer rises to 27C at times.
