He’s not happy and he’s making his feelings known.

This time the Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has practically demanded that the Irish people pay heed to his warnings or else face the consequences.

The man who effectively has run the country since March is putting his foot down and telling it straight to the Irish public.

The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan issued a stern warning to the Irish people stating that they must meet as few people as possible over Christmas, maybe even no one at all.

Holohan has been accused on social media as being “power hungry” and “out of control”, but he remains defiant in his approach to tackle covid.

The CMO insisted that the Irish public must do all that they can to reduce all social contacts and to limit seeing as many people as possible over Christmas. NPHET has warned of further restrictions and lockdowns if cases rise.

Not doubt the warning will be met with derision given how much Christmas means to Irish people. It’s understood that Holohan will be interviewed on the Late Late Show again in the near future.
