Gardai in Co Galway are appealing for information after a woman sadly died following a suspected hit and run incident on Wednesday evening.
According to RTE News, the appeal comes after the woman aged in her 50s was sadly found injured on the R336 from Bearna to An Spideál, near Na Forbacha at approximately 7:30pm on Wednesday evening
Gardai say the injured woman was taken to University Hospital Galway but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
