Ireland’s trolley crisis is showing no signs of slowing down as the INMO have revealed that there are 593 patients waiting for a bed today.

In figures published earlier today the organisation revealed that there are 156 more people waiting on a bed than the HSE’s TrolleyGar have suggested.

It is understood that University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 65 patients waiting on a bed, whilst Cork University Hospital is second with 46 people waiting.

South Tipperary General Hospital came third with 42 patients.

According to The HSE’s TrolleyGar figures there are currently 437 people waiting on a bed across the country.
