After 13 cases of coronavirus now officially declared in the Republic of Ireland, the HSE has issued a hefty warning to the public to start taking Covid-19 very seriously.

The Health Service Executive have issued a stern warning for the public to take the coronavirus very seriously.

It’s understood that they now are expecting further cases of an outbreak to happen in the coming days and weeks.

According to the RTE, the HSE say that many people had been asked to self-isolate for the protection of public health.

RTE reports that the HSE say there had been sustained transmission of the disease in other countries, especially in Europe and the UK.

The HSE went on to say that “members of the public needed to treat the outbreak of the disease very seriously.”
