Hungary is first EU country to use Russian made Sputnik V vaccination

This week, Hungary started to vaccinate it’s citizens using the Russian made Sputnik V vaccination, reports DailyNewsHiungary.

This is a big step for the European Union who have been struggling to manage lower than expected shipments of vaccinations from UK and EU based pharma companies.

Sputnik V was granted a license for use in Hungary in January after Hungarian medical officials visited Russia. The Hungarian medicines authority have advised that the vaccine should not be applied to patients with certain chronic illnesses in view of the Russian documentation. There is no age limit to applying the vaccine.
