The fallen hero of a thousand budget cuts had some proud words to say this morning.
Speaking in Newstalk, Enda Kenny said that he fully expects to win the next election. He also said that his intention is to “leave the country in a better position” that it was before he grabbed the reins of power.
When questioned about a possible plush job in Europe if his winning bid failed to materialize, he refused to be drawn into a discussion about it.
He did say though that when his time in politics is at an end, he has a lot of things to do and places to see.
