“I let the side down” – Prince Andrew vehemently denies all allegations made towards him

Prince Andrew was interviewed last night on the BBC about sexual allegations made towards him from a then 17-yr-old American girl in the year 2001.

Speaking about his friendship to the deceased Jeffrey Epstein, he said: “The people that I met and the opportunities that I was given to learn either by him or because of him were actually very useful.”

Virginia Roberts-Giuffre claims she and Prince Andrew ate dinner and danced together at a nightclub in London before going on to have sex on three separate occasions.

“I didn’t sweat at the time because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands War when I was shot at and I simply… it was almost impossible for me to sweat.”

He said that on the day, he went to a Pizza Express in Woking with his children before going home.

He said: “I was with the children and I’d taken Beatrice to a Pizza Express in Woking for a party at, I suppose, sort of 4pm or 5pm in the afternoon.”

He said that he has no recollection of the woman in question but as far as he’s concerned he had no sexual encounter with her, regardless of whether a photo of the two was faked or not. He said that he “let the side down” by meeting Epstein after he had already been convicted of sexual offences.
