Juliet Lundie weighed 24 stone when she attended her son’s sports day – a day she’ll never forget.
Having reluctantly participated in events on the day, Juliet told The Mirror that it was the obstacle course race at her son Daniel’s rugby club sports day that literally changed her life.
Between dodging poles, running up and down a bank, crawling under a tarpaulin, climbing a studding wooden wall and even struggling her way through a giant tractor tyre which almost flipped in the process, Juliet said she made the decision there and then that it was time for a change.
Now after a rigerous fitness program and healthy eating, Juliet weights in at 11st 12lb. Juliet said she runs for fun and just last month she even completed a 5k race.
She made her story public to help inspire others out there who could use her story as an inspiration.
