Ireland is in line for a late taste of summer this weekend, as Met Eireann says that temperatures will likely rise to about 20C at times, along with mostly dry and settled conditions.
Today, Friday, started off damp and misty but weather conditions are set to greatly improve towards the afternoon, leading into a warm and sunny evening.
Saturday will remain mostly dry, with good, long sunny spells, and temperatures reaching 18C.
Sunday is expected to be the best day of the lot, with dry, pleasant weather and temperatures of around 20C.
More unsettled weather is expected to make an unwelcome return by late Tuesday of next week.
