During the playing of the national anthems of England and Scotland before their Six Nations clash 16 of the thirty players bent the knee in what is ostensibly a stance against racism.

Ironically, while English rugby and other professional sports players have bent the knee and paid tribute in other forms to Black Lives Matter since the death of drug addict, home invader George Floyd last May no such tribute were made to Captain Sir Tom Moore, who was one of the oldest veterans of World War Two who died last week.
