Authorities in Australia have sadly confirmed that an Irish woman has died following a road traffic incident in Melbourne.
According to RTÉ News, the woman aged in her 20s, was killed following a two car collision.
It is believed that the woman from Co Mayo only travelled to the country in the past few weeks.
Meanwhile the Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident.
They added that they are currently providing consular assistance to the woman’s family.
