Irish woman seriously injured after falling from Dubai yacht is reportedly ‘on the mend’

The Irish lady who fell two stories from a boat in Dubai while attending a friend’s birthday party and sustained serious injuries is going to be discharged from the hospital, reports Breaking News.

After the incident a week ago, Natasha “Tasha” Keane, who is in her early 20s, was taken to a hospital in Dubai with a “severe head injury and lacerations to her liver.”

Ms. Keane, a native of Carlow, has spent the last year residing and working in the United Arab Emirates.

Natasha lost her balance and went headfirst into the water, suffering a concussion, according to her sister Róisín, who claims that Natasha was not wearing shoes at the time.

Witnessing the occurrence, a lifeguard dove into the water to save her from drowning.

“Tasha is finally on the mend, thanks to your help,” she said in her explanation. Even while she still has a long way to go before fully recovering, she is growing stronger every day. She has responded well to the therapy, therefore the hospital is preparing for her release, reports Breaking News.

Róisín also mentioned that she will need to go to the hospital every week for follow-up appointments till her liver lacerations heal entirely, which might take two to four months.

“She has sent her regards to everyone and can’t thank you all enough for helping her. I would like to (say) a massive thank you to each and every person who has kindly donated, spread awareness and sent their well wishes to Tasha and our family,” continued Róisín, reports Breaking News.
