An Irishman who was on board the Ethiopian Airlines flight which crashed killing all 157 people on board, has been identified as Michael Ryan.
According to RTÉ News, Mr Ryan a married father of two and originally from Co Clare, had been on board the flight which was en-route to Kenya on Sunday morning.
It is understood that Mr Ryan, was an engineer who worked with the World Food Programme.
Meanwhile the Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they are in liason with Ethiopian authorities, and that consular assistance has been made available to Mr Ryan’s family.
