There had been persistent rumors over the last couple of days that country music maestro Garth Brooks was due to visit Dublin to see a show about the whole gig fiasco last year.
It has now been confirmed, however, that the man himself will not be putting an official appearance to watch ‘Are you there Garth? It’s me, Margaret’, a show created by Darren Smith about the well-publicized Croke Park disaster.
Nevertheless, a spokesperson for the singer has said that “he would not be surprised if Garth did turn up to see the show, as he knows about it and has shown interest.”
