People are absolutely outraged after the government appears to be completely overlooking Irish people yet again in favour of refugees.
No fewer than 900 people are waiting for housing in an Irish city, while at least 500 modular homes will be handed to refugees, with no questions asked. Meanwhile, any locals wanting to build traditional or modular homes have to go through painful planning permission processes.
It is understood that local politicians in Killarney, Co. Kerry, are highlighting the apparent preferential treatment given to refugees.
According to Killarney authorities, not a single house is being built across the whole of Killarney, but hundreds of modular homes for refugees will be sited there in the near future.
