Investigative journalist Gemma O’Doherty, who heads Anti-Corruption Ireland, has had her YouTube channel removed and was also then allegedly threatened and pushed by an unidentified man on the street who called her a “racist” before Gardai arrived and removed him.

The outspoken freelance journalist had her YouTube channel taken down for alleged repeat violations of YouTube’s Terms of Service involving hate speech though the platform has yet to produce any evidence of hate speech or sight what in videos their standards were violated.

O’Doherty stepped into the national political foray, first attempting to run for president and then challenging for Dublin’s European Parliament seat in May and has reaped a whirl wind of abuse from mainstream media circles and proponents of open borders since for her patriotic political stance.

In response to having her Chanel taken down O’Doherty has organised and live-streamed protests outside Google’s Dublin HQ, YouTube’s parent company, and demanded an explanation and that her channel be reinstated.

O’Doherty has spoken out on issues such as corruption, mass migration, open borders, vaccines and other topics derided as conspiracy theories.

In recent months Google and its subsidiaries have come under increasing scrutiny, particularly in the US, for bias against individuals and groups with conservative and alternative views including those who oppose open borders and support President Donald Trump.

A recent Project Veritas undercover investigation recorded a senior Google executive saying that the tech giant would actively work to prevent Donald Trump being re-elected.

This has prompted senior lawmakers to call for the company to be investigated for criminality and possible treason as well as potentially be broke up using anti-trust laws.
