Prince Andrew’s attempt to prevent the prosecution of a lawsuit brought by a woman who claims to have sexually assaulted her at the age of 17 on the grounds that he no longer lives in the United States has been denied by a judge.
Federal Judge Lewis A. Kaplan has written to attorneys for the Duke of York telling them to hand over the documents by the date specified in the lawsuit that Virginia Giuffre has purchased.
Ms Giuffre claims the prince repeatedly assaulted her in 2001 while financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually assaulted her.
