According to the latest survey conducted by Irish Business Against Litter and An Taisce, Killarney is the country’s cleanest town, and Dublin now stands near the bottom of the ranking table.
In fact, some of Dublin’s areas, such as Gardiner Street and Spencer dock have been described as being in a “shocking state”.
The survey goes on to reveal that Killarney in Co Kerry is the cleanest town, followed by Dungarvan in Co Waterford and Tralee, Co Kerry.
