Some people on social media are saying this act is the worst act Ireland has ever entered with the singer and dancers called freaks by some.
Viewers of RTE Late Late Show voiced their opinions after it was announced during Friday night’s Eurosong special that Bambie Thug would be representing Ireland in this year’s Eurovision, reports The Mirror.
The Cork vocalist won that night over 380 other competitors and five other acts with their gothic song Doomsday Blue.
They will now proceed to the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals, which get off in Malmo, Sweden, on May 7. If they make it to the final, they’ll take the stage again on Saturday, May 11, reports The Mirror.
Following last night’s decision, which was determined by a combination of votes from domestic and international juries as well as the general public, viewers expressed their thoughts on social media.
