Motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution tonight, as freezing fog and low temperatures are creating extremely hazardous driving conditions around Ireland.
The national forecaster has issued a Status Yellow Warning for deep cold, as temperatures are expected to sink to -3C in areas of Munster, Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal tonight.
To make matters worse, thre is a fog warning in place for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal, lasting until tomorrow morning.
Be careful if you are out and about.
