Little chance of snow on Christmas Day, as rain and relatively mild temperatures are predicted

If you are hoping for a White Christmas, there is little chance of it, as relatively mild temperatures and rain feature heavily over the next few days.

Tomorrow, Sunday, will remain mostly dry, with temperatures reaching 10C in places.

Come Monday though, rain will begin spreading eastwards, and temperatures will dip slightly, to about 7C.

Rain will be persistent in the run up to Christmas Day, with an unsettled weather pattern predominant.
