Little respite in Irish summer weather

rain

If you are hoping for a bit of good summer weather, look elsewhere, cause clouds and rain are set to blight the country for the rest of the week, and possibly into next week.

Rain in the east and south will die out later today, and there will be brighter weather around the west and north.

It will be a bright start tomorrow morning, but cloud cover will soon spoil the fun. Temperatures will remain in the high teens though.

Thursday is expected to be sodden, with showery conditions predominant on Friday, accompanied by gales across the Atlantic coast.

Next week is forecast to be much of the same, so don’t hold your breath for a nice summer.
