President Donald Trump has signed orders to tighten up on US immigration enforcement along with scouring the US border by building a border wall with Mexico.
The wall was his most powerful punch against Hillary Clinton who favoured what he called an open-door policy.
One of his very first executive orders will order the building of “a large physical barrier on the southern border,” White House spokesman Sean Spicer said.
The order will also see the Department of Homeland Security agents“tools and resources to stop illegal immigration from entering the US.”
The second executive order aims to empower Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to stop the “madness of sanctuary cities”.
Federal agencies will “unapologetically enforce the law, no ifs ands or buts,” Spicer concluded.
