A car overturned in Dublin’s Port Tunnel, sending a man who had severe injuries to the hospital, reports The Mirror.
The aftermath of the horrifying incident that saw the automobile totally flip over in the middle of the tunnel early on Wednesday morning has been captured in shocking photos that have surfaced online.
Emergency personnel raced to the site and found the car’s driver laying on the ground with severe injuries to his foot and leg, reports The Mirror.
The event was verified by gardai in a statement to the Irish Mirror.
“Gardaí attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car that occurred at approximately 4:30am this morning (Wednesday June 12) at the Dublin Port Tunnel in Dublin 1,” a garda spokesperson said, reports The Mirror.
