A man had to be rushed to hospital after being doused with a corrosive substance in an Irish city.
The incident happened near the Centra shop on Connolly Road in Ballyphehane, Cork, shortly before 9.30pm on Friday.
The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
