From Monday, people will no longer have to wear face masks in shops, restaurants, public transport, hospitality – basically you name it and you don’t have to wear a mask, except for medical settings.
Although a lot of us are delighted with the prospect of actually living somewhat normally again, many people say that they’re frightened to take off their mask and will continue to wear one regardless of it being a legal requirement or not.
A recent poll saw some 66% of people said that they’re going to wear masks after Monday with 22% of people saying they’re going to bin their mask at the first available opportunity.
No doubt as time goes by that 22% will grow and more and more people will stop wearing face masks, but for now at least, it would appear that a lot of people will still be masked up from Monday.
