The boxing world sadly lost another legend of the sport as Marvelous Marvin Hagler sadly passed away at the age of 66.
However the tragic passing of the former middleweight champion has sparked anti vaccine campaigners to voice messages after a fellow boxing legend gave an update on Hagler’s condition before his death.
According to FOX News, former boxer Thomas Hearns reported in an Instagram post that Hagler had been suffering after effects from the Covid-19 vaccine.
In the post Hearns said: “A real true warrior Pray for the king and his family.. he’s in ICU fighting the after effects of the vaccine! He’ll be just fine but we could use the positive energy and Prayer for his Full Recovery !”
The message which has led to many anti vaccine campaigners to voice their opinions on the Covid-19 was reportedly posted just hours before it was confirmed that Hagler had passed away.
However despite the anti vaccine messages, Hearns later clarified his statement writing: “Allow us to have our peace. Our love and respect to Marvin and his family, this is not an anti vaccine campaign … It’s outrageous to have that in mind during the passing of a King, Legend, Father, Husband and so much more.”
