Navan woman Elizabeth Oakes was interviewed by Tommy Tiernan last night describing her job as mortician and how she chose her career.
Always the entrepreneur, Elizabeth said that she literally wanted any career that paid well and that she didn’t need to spend much time studying in college for.
Eventually becoming a mortician, Elizabeth conveyed how she cares for the deceased and how she enjoys her work.
She said that she also plans on bringing ‘water cremation’ to Ireland in the near future.
