Arguably one of the most controversial figures in the royal family in recent times, Meghan Markle makes headlines around the world whenever she publicly speaks.

Last week’s a magazine reported that she allegedly told friends that she was going to bring up her and Prince Harry’s baby as gender fluid. This forced Kensington Palace to release a public statement saying that was absolutely nonsense karma a very unusual thing for them to do.

This time the Duchess of Sussex says that she doesn’t read newspapers anymore and she doesn’t even use Twitter to avoid getting muddled by noise.

Speaking about women, the Duchess said that when she was 11 years old she saw an advertisement that she found to be very sexist and something that’s stuck in her mind I knew that there was something wrong. She said that there’s a lack of education around the world specifically with women and that education can solve so many of the world’s problems.

These comments were made during her first engagement as vice president of the Queen’s commonwealth Trust, which was held on international women’s day.
