Met Eireann is forecasting unsettled weather for this week, but temperatures will remain relatively mild.
After a few days of summer-like weather (for Irish standards) weather patterns are now returning to the more traditional sunny spells mixed with showers throughout Wednesday.
According to the national forecaster, conditions will improve somewhat over Thursday and Friday, with drier weather and good, long bright spells.
The bad news is that the coming weekend is not expected to be particularly good weather-wise at least, with sunny spells and showers predicted, and temperatures hovering around the 15-17C mark.
