Met Eireann issues double weather warning for five counties as conditions are set to worsen considerably over the next few hours




Met Eireann has issued a double weather warning for five counties as conditions are set to worsen considerably over the next few hours.

A Status Yellow warning kicked in at 3pm today for counties Donegal, Galway, and Mayo. According to the national forecaster, these areas will experience wind speeds of up to 110km/h throughout the evening.

A second warning affects counties Cork, Kerry, and Galway. This warning will kick in at 6pm on Saturday evening, and remain in place until 6am on Sunday. Met Eireann says that heavy rain might lead to localized flooding.
