Met Eireann issues urgent Status Orange weather alert for three counties ahead of the arrival of storm Betty




Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Orange weather alert for three counties ahead of the arrival of storm Betty.

The warning, which covers counties Cork, Waterford, and Kilkenny, will come into effect at 9pm and remain in place until 3am.

According to the warning, many areas around these counties will experience wind speeds of up to 130km/h and heavy rain.
