Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Yellow warning for 10 counties ahead of miserable weather conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo, will be in place from 4am tonight until 3pm on Tuesday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience strong winds and heavy rain, which might lead to localized flooding.
