Met Eireann has issued three urgent weather warnings due to subzero temperatures across the country.
The warnings will be in place until Saturday afternoon in some cases.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around the country will experience heavy rain, subzero temperatures, and even snow falls over the next 48h.
The only good news is that milder conditions are expected next week.
