Met Eireann is today saying that the weather will remain unsettled today and into the weekend, with pleasant conditions expected tomorrow, Friday.
According to the national forecaster, there will be some heavy showers today, Thursday, particularly during the afternoon, with drier weather arriving by evening.
Friday is forecast to be a much better day overall, with mostly bright and dry conditions, and temperatures reaching 16-17C.
Current indications show a weekend of mixed conditions, with some wet periods and brief spells of sunshine, with highest temperatures reaching 17C.
