Met Eireann is today saying that today will be a largely bright and sunny day, but rain will arrive overnight, leading to a rather wet Thursday.
According to the national forecaster, Wednesday will be a mild and pleasant day, with temperatures reaching 18-19C at times.
A band of rain will arrive from the west towards late evening however, spreading eastwards and southwards as the night goes on.
Thursday will start off very wet, but drier conditions will develop throughout the afternoon.
Friday currently looks like a mostly dry and bright day, with highs of 17C.
