Gardai say that they’ll do everything in their power to ensure that the culprits who rammed a garda car will be hunted down and punished for their actions.
Garda sources say that gardai feared for their lives during the incident and that it was lucky no one was killed.
People who drove cars at speed around Cherry Orchard in Dublin on Sunday night will be trapped down and caught, claims the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee.
Two cars were driven at very high speed as a garda car came upon the scene. One of the cars narrowly missed the squad car while the second car smashed straight into the garda car as crowds of onlookers cheers with delight.
The Garda Commissioner Drew Harris said that it was disgraceful what happened and that they will do all they can do find those responsible.
