Met Eireann is today sharing news of a possible mini-heatwave coming next week, with temperatures potentially reaching high 20s.
According to the national forecaster, current predictions show a marked turn for the better, weather-wise, by Sunday. If the predictions come to pass, Ireland might enjoy some summer-like weather for most of next week.
In the meantime, conditions will remain unsettled, with overcast skies and damp weather across most of Ireland over the next few days, though temperatures will stay rather mild, reaching 21-22C at times.
