Conor McGregor has had a big weekend, but it may well become an even big week ahead after WWE legend (and now Executive Vice President) HHH has offered the Crumlin native a deal to join the wrestling organisation.
The WWE is the biggest wrestling organisation in the world, but it took a hard hit (excuse the pun) over the popularity of UFC and the decline in the WWE’s more childish storylines.
HHH was sitting ringside at McGregor’s fight in New York. Conor wants a bigger piece of the UFC pie and said he wants shares in the company… but he mightn’t be with them much longer.
HHH said:
“He could come over, he’s got it all, he’s got the personality, the skills, the talk. He’s an entertainer, for sure”.
“What does he walk around at? 180lbs? I have smaller guys now in the WWE. We have 200lb guys who are stars. You don’t need to be 300lbs any more”. I want to offer him a deal as soon as possible.
HHH said that McGregor could easily perform as well, if not better than Floyd MayWeather did when he was there.
We’ll wait and see!
