Police in Austria have launched an investigation after a woman and her two daughters were found dead at an apartment in Vienna.
It is understood the 45-year-old woman and her twin daughters aged 18, were found starved to death in the locked apartment in the city’s Floridsdorf District.
Police investigating the incident say they believe the three women may have died at the end of March or the beginning of April.
It is not known why the women were starved, but authorities say there are no signs of a break in or any evidence that violent scenes took place at the apartment.
Officers investigating the case say they are currently awaiting the results of post-mortem examinations and investigations are currently ongoing.
