The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has called on the public to follow current Covid-19 guidelines following the rise in cases.
Speaking about the launch of a new information leaflet, Martin said the virus is highly dangerous and effects everyone both young and old.
The Taoiseach said that the next few weeks are critical in terms of how we try to change the trajectory of the virus and this leaflet will keep everyone fully informed.
He added that everyone show treat the leaflet as important as any other document they receive via the post.
