Fans of the humble 99 ice cream might be disappointed this summer, as their favorite treat might not be available due to supply issues.
Cadbury’s chocolate flakes, a key ingredient in the all-Irish treat, are currently in short supply worldwide, which might scupper many people’s plans to enjoy an old 99 every now and again over the coming months.
The actual reason for the shortage remains unclear however, as sources simply said that ‘not enough were produced.’
